Carved white gold and sapphire engagement ring
This very recently finished sapphire engagement ring was a really nice commission from a long time friend in the jewellery trade. An incredible bright blue 2ct oval sapphire was chosen and the ring design was developed based on our 'Carve' rings.
The ring was then hand carved in wax before being cast in 18 carat white gold:
The ring is finished with contrasting satin and mirror polished surfaces. The cornflower blue colour of the sapphire looks especially vivid against the steely grey colour of white gold.
