Architect's angular engagement ring with cognac diamond

This angular engagement ring was commissioned by an architect and is set with a princess cognac diamond. The pale brown diamond is set in an 18-carat white gold bezel, which is connected to the rose gold band with four rivets. These pass through the upper section of the ring band and under the stone, passing through both sides of the bezel wall. Four small gemstones gypsy set into the sides of the band conceal the ends of the rivets. These stones are: pink tourmaline, pink diamond and two peridots. Each is a birthstone, chosen to represent one of their four children.



Our client came to us with a concept for the engagement ring and we worked with him to realise the design. Although it is hand made, the ring's clean, angular lines and riveted connections give the impression of being machined.
