Carved sapphire and white gold engagement ring with mobius wedding band

A bespoke white gold and sapphire Arris engagement ring is paired with the Mobius wedding band  from our collection in this recent engagement and wedding ring commission. The curves of the Mobius wedding band compliment the sculptural lines of the Arris engagement ring perfectly.  Mobius wedding rings are a recent addition to our collection and this is one of the first engagement and wedding ring sets to be made with one.



Part of our Arris ring series, the hand-carved engagement ring is made from 18-carat white gold and set with a round brilliant-cut sapphire.  As with all of our Arris rings, this unique engagement ring was carved by hand in wax before being cast in precious metal. Wax-carving is a centuries-old technique that enables us to create the curvaceous, sculptural forms characteristic of our Arris rings.  The engagement ring was carefully hand-carved to fit the sapphire perfectly, before being cast in 18-carat white gold.

The white gold engagement ring is set with a gorgeous cornflower-blue sapphire, which contrasts vividly with the soft grey hue of white gold.  18-carat white gold has a slight warmth to it and is an ideal match for brightly coloured gemstones, which look even brighter in contrast to the neutral grey of the metal. The white gold has been brushed to a matt-satin finish, which emphasises the sculptural curves of the ring.
