Carved white gold statement ring with green sapphire and white diamond

This swirling S-shaped Arris statement ring is a recent commission. Carved by hand, the ring is made from 18-carat white gold and set with a beautiful pale green sapphire and white diamond. The fluid lines and position of the stones create a sense of harmony and balance.

The unusual two-stone Arris ring combines green sapphire, white diamond and 18-carat white gold to stunning effect. Brushed white gold provides the perfect backdrop for the pale green sapphire and white diamond. The warm-toned metal emphasises the colour and brilliant sparkle of the two stones.



Contrasting areas of brushed and mirror-polished metal emphasise the ring's sculptural lines. Seen from the top, the ring is a simple S-shaped swirl of metal, which cups the two stones in open rub-over settings. From the side you can see how the curves of the 'S' continue down to blend into ring band.

Based on our Arris rings, the green sapphire and diamond ring is carved by hand and is made using generous amounts of 18-carat white gold. When making our hand-carved rings we consider them as miniature sculptures and give equal consideration to all angles. They are carved in wax, which allows us to adjust forms and proportions before casting in precious metal.
