We do not get a lot of custom made rings with a reasonable price in Hong Kong. My fiancé and I had been in search of the right wedding bands for a while and nothing looked as good as the ones McCaul could offer. Barry had been extremely helpful and promptly answered all our questions through emails. As we're not physically in London, we sent actual ring sizers to them to ensure that the bands would fit perfectly. The end product is exactly what we wanted - contemporary and beautifully made. I highly recommend them!

I worked with McCaul's to design an engagement ring. The whole process from start to end was positive. They listened to my needs and responded accordingly, the cost was really competitive and I have come away with a ring I love to look at and wear. Since this encounter I've been back for additional projects and each time has been a positive experience. I can't recommend the McCaul brothers enough.

We came across McCaul Goldsmiths by chance, when meeting friends for lunch at Exmouth Market. The commissioning process was simple. I saw a ring I liked in the cabinet, and asked for it to be made in rose gold: no problem. My husband wanted a ring that complemented mine but was less feminine, so we looked through a box of prototypes and brought together elements from various pieces. The end result was perfect. Especially the sizing, which was done in half sizes - something we had not been offered elsewhere. Perhaps the most impressive thing was that David and Barry put what must have been quite a small order for them, through at their busiest time of year. The order was produced at short notice, to an exemplary standard, and with friendly advice and service along the way.

Over the last couple of years I have been using the Mc Caul brothers to help me perfect our bespoke rings for our marriage. First they helped and advised me on the engagement ring. This was tricky as my wife had designed her own engagement ring and had a very unique vision - they got it perfect! Next were our wedding bands and again, they perfected them. They put up with our tantrums and always gave us honest advice on sizes and values. We always truly felt we could trust them. Fair costs, skilled workmanship, accommodating and above all honesty. I cannot give a high enough recommendation to trust these brothers as I have, with the most important pieces of jewellery I'll ever purchase.

I recently had the pleasure of picking up my wedding band from McCaul in London whilst travelling there from Australia. I couldn't be happier with the ring and it was fantastic to meet David in the workshop and learn a little bit about how my ring was made in the in-store workshop using traditional techniques. They also processed the VAT refund form for me which saved a lot of money for international customers! Ordering my ring unseen from Australia was no issues - communication with David & Barry was quick and easy and the finished ring looked exactly as was described! I highly recommend McCaul and would happily buy jewellery from them again!

Buying 'the ring' for the fussiest fiance on the planet was always going to be a daunting experience, but I guess that is what everyone thinks when they start out!! From the first time I spoke to Barry on the phone, right through to the day we walked out of the shop two months later, I was more and more pleased with the overall experience we had been through. The way in which the shop is laid out with the workshop visible in the back and the friendly helpful staff gives McCaul's a special quality which makes you feel so involved with the whole process. Barry, Dave and the other staff are so helpful and knowledgeable and were happy to spend as much time as was needed on talking through all of the details and specifics. In the search of perfection, the tiniest details are the most important and so often the most easily forgotten. The most highly recommended jeweller I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. A wholly enjoyable experience from start to finish, perfection in the final product.

We just collected my engagement ring, and tried on our wedding rings before they finish them, which all interlock together! Amazing to shake the hands of the men that put their hearts, precision and craftsmanship into designing and crafting our beautiful bespoke rings! As a Dorset based couple, it's been an exciting part of the journey to go to London each time to meet Barry and the team, they never rushed us, they always spent plenty of time with us, never looked at their watch to get rid of us! They seem to appreciate that people need time to allow creative ideas to settle into great design plans! It was great to get swept up in the London buzz to add a bit of extra excitement to the journey! Celebrated in a London champagne bar yesterday, all a part of the memories!

We ordered our rings online without seeing them in person - the service was wonderful. They provided us with photos and videos of the rings, gave us all the details to help us decide on the material and size and answered all of our queries quickly. We got our engagement and wedding rings made here; fantastic and unusual design, particularly with the more intricate engagement ring, which is beautiful.
